Esther Abrami is a classical French violinist known for her beautiful songs and haunting melodies.

But lately, her new musical partner has stolen the spotlight: rescue kitten Rémila.

Keep reading to find out how this musician discovered her foster kitten’s secret wish.

Rémila is a kitten from the Association Féli Cité, a non-profit animal rescue and protection association.

Having a big heart for animal rescue, Esther happily volunteered to foster her until she found a forever family.

“When she arrived she was less than 400 grams, scared and had breathing issues from having stayed outside for several days,” Esther said. “I’m happy to say that after 7 days of milk bottles and constant cuddles Rémila has now become one of the friendliest cats I’ve ever seen.”

Though she is playful and loving, there was one issue with Rémila: she didn’t like to be left alone on the floor while Esther practiced.

“She cries when I leave her on the floor, so here’s what I did,” Esther said.

Soon enough, Esther found a surprisingly simple solution. She strapped a bum bag around her waist and put Rémila in it.

Now, Rémila has the best seat in the house and gets her own private concert every time Esther practices!

“She is always either on my lap or in her little bag around my waist!” Esther said. Playing Apres Un Reve by Gabriel Faure, she recorded how a typical session goes.

Rémila makes a valiant effort to help Esther play, watching the bow move back and forth and trying to catch it.

But it’s a losing battle— by the end of the song, she’s relaxed and snoozing in her pouch.

It’s no wonder that Rémila can’t resist the soothing tune.

Esther is completing a master’s degree at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, guided by Wen Zhou Li.

She’s been awarded a full scholarship and often showcases her skills on her social media accounts.

But Rémila isn’t the only cat who loves Esther’s playing.

Many of Esther’s followers have posted videos of their own pets being lulled to sleep by her music.

Besides being an amazing musician, Esther is an avid cat lover and often posts about the benefits of rescuing animals.

“If you want to adopt a pet, please try to rescue one!” Esther said. “It has honestly been so heartwarming receiving messages from some of you showing me pictures of cats you’ve rescued and adopted and I hope it will keep going!”

Rémila isn’t Esther’s first foster cat, and likely won’t be her last.

But until Rémila finds her forever home, she’s happy to cuddle with Esther and let the music lull her to sleep.

Of all the cats I have had, only one liked my violin playing. She would come running and sit in my violin case while I practiced. She sometimes like to see if she could catch my bow if I was standing close enough. The other cats all went to the basement when I would practice. I don't play as beautiful as you though.

I love stories of young people making a great life for themselves by using their talent. And what a great story. My cats thru the years have always liked music so this doesn't surprise me. And turning up the volume makes them feel the more better.

When she gets to her new home wherever that may be she is going to wonder why no one is playing the violin for her. I am sure it will be a good home even without the personal concerts.
