Meet Riley! She’s a sweet, 2 year old girl from California. Riley was adopted by her mom, Laurene, in the cutest way.
In fact, Laurene says that Riley adopted her – not the other way around!
One day, Laurene opened her front door to let a neighbor in and Riley followed the neighbor through the door!
Laurene didn’t have the heart to ask her to leave, so she just stayed.
Laurene took Riley to the vet to check if she was microchipped in case she belonged to someone else. She didn’t!
After getting her shots, Riley was pronounced healthy.
Riley’s hobbies include playing with toy mice and sitting in her kitty condo watching the neighbors.
She also loves to sleep next to her mom’s head. If Laurene rolls over, Riley will move to the side that’s facing her mom.
Riley loves to indulge in Purina Indoor Cat Chow and catnip treats.
As a special treat, Laurene might give her some yogurt or a small saucer of milk once in a while.
Laurene lost her former cat 5 years ago and Riley’s sudden appearance in her life was a true blessing.

Thank you for choosing Riley as a “National Kitty”. She was such a joy and a blessing. I’m heartbroken to say that Riley crossed the Rainbow Bridge on May 19, 2020. She had an aggressive cancer and her vet said she was in pain. She was only 3 years and 4 months. I hope she’s waiting for me when I get there. Love your fur baby with all your heart.
