Friendly Barn Kitten Loves To Massage & Cuddle His Pig Friends

Sharing is caring!

At Juggling Daisies Hobby Farm, your first host will greet you on four legs instead of two.

Ernest, the friendly barn cat, can usually be found greeting people and animals alike.

@JugglingDaisies

He is one of the many animals that calls Juggling Daisies Hobby Farm home, but he is definitely the friendliest.

In this animal utopia, all the adorable animals are safe and loved under the ‘animals are friends not food’ motto.

Here, don’t be surprised if you see goats, sheep, alpacas, cows, horses, donkeys, pigs, and cats.

These pets have found their forever home among the many acres of the sanctuary.

Keep reading to discover how Ernest, the friendly barn cat, has become so popular!

A Day in The Life of Ernest

Ernest begins his day by greeting all the farm animals.

He’s a curious cat and attempts  to ride or nap on many of the farm animals.

This is not well received by most–especially the donkeys. However, Ernest does not give up. He still tries to befriend all!

While Ernest loves all of his farm friends, he shares a special bond with the farm pigs: Sassy, Clementine, Tulip and Daphne.

A Bond That Cannot Be Broken

Ernest is one of a litter of kittens that the farm owner, Amy, allows to roam the property.

After Ernest was neutered and healed up, Amy allowed the kittens to integrate with the other animals.

No surprise, Ernest quickly adapted to farm life.

When it was time to welcome the newest pig, Sassy, home, Ernest immediately greeted and loved his new piggy companion.

Sassy and Ernest can’t get enough of each other. They’re pretty much inseparable!

Farm Family

Ernest can be found ‘making biscuits’ on Sassy or Tulip’s backs, trying to go for a literal piggy-back ride, or plopping down for a nap among them.

Farm owner Amy paints us a clear picture of Ernest’s personality, “this little guy has no issue going out on a limb and making new friends. He is curious and very observant over his farm family.”

@JugglingDaisies

Ernest not only observes and plays with his farm family, but he truly takes care of them.

He can typically be found grooming the pigs as often as he is using them as a piggy-pillow.

This sweet gesture might just be the reason they let him rumble, tumble and crawl all over them so often!

The Happiest Farm In The World!

Juggling Daisies Hobby Farm might be the happiest place on earth, but farm owner Amy doesn’t believe this should be such a rare phenomenon.

She wrote in an Instagram post, “I do think Ernest is a unique cat, and the pigs are love sponges…but overall I would say everyone loves this hard around here. As humans, maybe we all simply need to love more, and not find this so unique.”

Even through the harsh Wisconsin winter, this farm and it’s occupants warm our hearts.

We can all aim to spread more love. Follow Juggling Daisies Hobby Farm on Instagram to stay up to date on all the farm’s adorable moments.

I love little piggies and wish I could have one (& they would never bring home any bacon, only companionship) They can be quite affectionate as well as being very intelligent. My cats would be startled at first but would gladly accept one. This is beyond cute!!
