Meet Ash! He’s a gorgeous, 1-year-old boy from India.

His mom, Alina, tells us all about him in the story below.

Sweet Beginnings

I’d always wanted a cat of my own, and when I heard that one of our relative’s friend’s cat had kittens, I just had to go and take a look.

There, I saw my little marshmallow and it was love at first sight!

Coincidentally, the person was also searching for good homes for the kittens and I ended up taking Ash home with me.

He has such beautiful grey colored fur that we just had to name him Ash Gray.

Siddiqui is our family’s last name and since Ash is a member of our family, his full name is Ash Gray Siddiqui.

What is Ash like?

Ash is a very sensitive, loving, and intelligent cat.

He notices every little thing about us and seems to understand everything we say.

Once my uncle’s son got a haircut and Ash was smelling him all over like there is some wrong with him.

It was pretty hilarious and surprising at the same time to see that he noticed such a small detail.

Ash is your typical lazy cat.

He naps most of the time, getting his daily dose of beauty sleep.

But when I go to sleep at night, he climbs on my chest and gently kneads my face and neck.

It’s pretty adorable! He loves being close to me.

Other than that, he loves to bat around balls made out of crumpled aluminum foil.

We love our little Ash so much and are so happy fate brought us together!
