Meet Peanut! This 4-month-old kitten with cerebellar hypoplasia has tiny wheels but BIG dreams!
Peanut may need a little extra help getting around, but this tiny girl certainly doesn’t let that slow her down.
Peanut has severe CH (cerebellar hypoplasia), which means her cerebellum, the part of her brain that’s responsible for balance and coordination, did not develop properly.
This means she’s prone to wobbling and falling over when she walks.
CH is an incurable congenital condition, but it does not get progressively “worse”. In fact, cats with CH have a normal life expectancy.
But since Peanut’s condition is so severe, she needs early and consistent therapeutic intervention to reach her maximum functional capacity.
She requires a wheelchair for support and daily physical therapy to help strengthen her legs and give her as much independence as possible.
Little Peanut is eager to learn! She’s brave and wants everyone to see her shine.
Peanut’s foster thought her wheelchair needed an upgrade, so naturally she now has the coolest custom LEGO ride in town!
She’s having a great time zipping around her foster mom’s home, exploring and playing the way kittens should.
CH isn’t painful, and Peanut doesn’t know she’s “different.”
She just knows she has places to go, things to investigate, and people to charm along the way!
Every day she works those little legs, and every tiny bit of progress is worth celebrating.
One day she’ll be adoptable and ready to find a very special forever family that can accommodate her special needs.

Peanut is an adorable reminder that a little support can make a huge difference in a cat’s life.
Donations exclusively benefit Community Cats of Central Arkansas, a small 501(c)3 non-profit that rescues and rehabilitates cats that are victims of cruelty, neglect, and abandonment in a rural part of Arkansas with high animal cruelty rates and limited resources.
Their special-needs program is one of the most special parts of what we do, giving kittens like Peanut the time, therapy, equipment and individualized care they need to thrive, no matter how different their journey may look.
These cats require ongoing support, which carries a heavy financial burden for a small, volunteer based non-profit in rural Arkansas.

Despite being a volunteer-based non-profit with limited funds, they rescued over 2000 cats and kittens in 2025 alone – that number rivals other non-profit rescues who receive millions of dollars in funding.
Instead, they’re running solely on donations from kind-hearted individuals to continue saving cats & kittens that have suffered from neglect, abuse, or abandonment.
In addition to their direct intake, they pull special needs cats, senior cats, and cats in critical condition from the top kill shelters in the state to prevent unnecessary euthanasia.
