Meet Titus! He’s a handsome 3-year-old boy from Arkansas.
Titus was once a teeny tiny kitten that could fit in the palm of your hand.
Now he’s blossomed into an exceptionally big boy!
His human mom, Sara, tells us all about him in the story below.
Sweet Beginnings
I found Titus on Facebook.
His owner at the time was practically giving away her kittens by only charging $20 for a rehoming fee.
When I went to pick Titus up, I was expecting a female kitten.
I didn’t notice he was a boy until we’d already left.
However, I was already in love with this little fur-ball and there was no going back!
What is Titus’s personality like?
When I got Titus, he was so small that he could fit in the palm of my hand.
I remember when he was small enough to sit on my shoulder like a little parrot!
I was expecting him to be a smaller-than-average cat when he grew up.
Boy, was I wrong.
Titus is one of the longest cats I have ever seen!
When he stretches out, he takes up quite a bit of space.
His pictures don’t do him justice. He is much larger in person.
When people see him for the first time, they often gasp at how large he is.
His personality is as big as his body and he loves people!
What does Titus like to do for fun?
Titus is an indoor kitty, but he loves supervised trips to the porch where he can sniff and nibble all the plants he encounters.
I started taking him on walks with a leash and harness when he was a kitten so he could explore the world around him.
He’s a bit more timid about the porch now that he’s older!
When he’s inside, he enjoys playing with any toys that include feathers and or bells.
He enjoys sitting by the window and soaking up sunshine while getting a front row seat to watch all the squirrels and birds.
Of course he sleeps a lot too. He’s an avid napper.
After all, he needs his beauty sleep to stay handsome!
Titus demands his favorite treat, Sheba chicken flavored cuts in gravy, every night.
He will lead whoever is around to his Sheba drawer when he decides it is “sheba time”.
Since adopting Titus, our little family has grown.
Titus now has a baby brother named Felix!
Felix is also a siamese mix rescue kitty, making him the perfect little brother for Titus.
The two of them snuggle and play to their hearts’ content.
Titus is a great big brother, taking Felix under his wing and playing leader.
I’ve always called Titus my son. He brings he so much joy!
He’s smart, handsome, and extremely affectionate.
He’s very special and I’m beyond grateful for his company.
I couldn’t imagine life without him!
