Meet Pete The Cat! He’s an adventurous boy from Pennsylvania.
Pete was adopted by his mom, Yvonne, from a shelter after his previous owners surrendered him.
When Yvonne saw Pete at the shelter, they had an instant connection. He purred and cuddled up in her arms, longing to be loved.
The rest is history! Six years later and they are still inseparable.
Pete was named by Yvonne’s grandson after his favorite series of children’s books called Pete The Cat. He looked just like the cat in the books!
Pete’s hobbies include gazing out the window, perching on his cat tree, and batting his toys around.
He also loves to sprint up and down the hallway and play hide & seek with his mom.
But above all else, he loves to show his mom how much he loves her with cuddles and gentle headbutts.
Pete loves to indulge in Friskies Chicken & Gravy Fillets wet food and Friskies Party Mix treats!
He also loves to sniff the occasional cat nip which he knows as “nip nip”.
Yvonne is so glad Pete adopted her! We’re proud to call Pete the Cat a National Kitty!

I had a ginger cat named Petey when I was a little girl. Many years later my father brought home little RePete from his job. I love ginger kitties. Pete has beautiful green eyes and Yvonne is a lucky lady.

Hi Debra, sadly the Love of my life, owner of my heart, center of my world and king of our castle passed away on June 1st from a sudden onset of an illness which could not be treated or save his life. My life has been changed forever, my Heart is broken and the lights in our castle are dim.
