Meet Pumpkin! She’s a sweet 1 year old girl from Texas.

Pumpkin was adopted by her mom, Kerry, at just 2 weeks old and weighed a mere 5 ounces.

She was found on a rainy night along a busy road all by herself.

Kerry fosters and re-homes orphan kittens. When little Pumpkin was brought to Kerry, she had an eye laceration and a rib injury.

No one knows how she was hurt. She almost died from fading kitten syndrome.

Without Kerry’s love and support, she would not have made it. She chose Kerry and never leaves her side. Now they are inseparable.

Because of Pumpkin’s rough start, she has remained small. She is now 1 year old but is the size of a 6 month old kitten.

Pumpkin’s hobbies include burying her head in an entire bag of catnip.

She loves having her face brushed with a toothbrush by her mom, Kerry.

She also loves taking naps and playing with her cat friends.

Pumpkin loves carrying around nerf gun bullets that belong to Kerry’s son.

They are soft and just the right size to carry in her mouth. Sometimes she even plays “fetch” with them.

Pumpkin’s favorite snack are soft and delicious Sheba Meat Sticks. She does not meow – instead, she sounds like a small monkey and chirps.

Pumpkin is a gentle soul. She has never shown aggression toward other cats. She is loyal to her mom and craves her companionship.
